Green Beret Staff Sgt. Tim McGill, was killed on Sept 21, 2013 in a Green on Blue attack in Afgjanistan. Love, respect, patriosm and pride were abundently on display for the fallen soldier and the McGill family as his remains were carried through his hometown of Ramsey, New Jersey almost 2 weeks later. His Special Forces unit is marching alongside the firetruck carrying his coffin.

READERS:  I've been on a bit of a haitus, but gearing up for a new round of slaughter.
Taking a break from writing about the world of politics, military and our declining status in the free world can sometimes be a good thing - although I haven't decided yet if writing about all female Roller Derby and Organic Photo Exhibits (among other frivolous topics) have done the trick...we'll see....

An abridged version of my interview with Fovea Gallery from The Poughkeepsie Journal. The gallery presented a capsule collection "war & Memory" from THE HOMECOMING PROJECT, a traveling exhibition of photographs, all taken by photojournalists and veterans depicting the past 10 years, to tell the story of the U.S. soldier.
